The Surviving Paradise winner on Netflix got to take home a whopping cash prize. After a series of trials, like sleeping in a forest on minimal food, fans placed their bets on who would win Surviving Paradise. We’ve got the latest on whose game-playing tactics were up to scratch.

Spoilers: Netflix has released the ultimate survival series. Surviving Paradise saw 12 contestants, who were led to think they’d be spending their summer in a luxury villa, be challenged with a grueling challenge. They had to sleep in the wilderness to earn their right to stay in an oceanside property.

Surviving Paradise cash money goes to…

Linda Okoli is the Surviving Paradise winner. Her strategy throughout season 1 was selflessness, as she used her great connections and charm to win votes from her co-stars.

Based in the Greater Houston area of Texas, Linda told Tudum of her winning game strategy: “I wanted to play in a way that I could look back on years from now and be proud.”

“Everything you saw is real,” Linda tells Tudum. “I truly am a genuine person and try to think about others before myself. I’m excited for everyone who was able to take something away from the journey.”

Where Netflix winner is now

Linda is now living her best life as Surviving Paradise’s Netflix winner! She is still very close to Alex, who was a big part of her journey. Linda also considers Lellies Santiago as one of her sisters and best friends.

She has just finished creating her website, Life on Lock, which has a bunch of different resources for women to use and find refuge in. Linda also wrote a book over the past year!

“Lellies and I were talking about doing joint conferences one day and basically taking up space, not only on the internet but also in the real world, where women can be seen and heard,” she told Tudum.

She split money during ‘inspiring’ act

Linda split the $250K with her close friend Lellies Santiago, who put $100K towards her father’s treatment. Lellies had betrayed Linda in episode 2, but the two recovered their friendship and are still best friends.

When asked whether she wanted to split the $200,000 or take home $250,000 for herself, Linda chose to split. Although fans wanted her to keep it for herself, many are hailing her choice as “inspiring”.

A fan told Linda: “I was mad you didn’t take the 250k at first because I was excited to see you put yourself first as everyone else did but then I was inspired. You are a rare breed of human.”
