Miguel Martin featured on The Real Housewives of Miami’s latest episode. The late dad of Nicole on RHOM filmed a dinner scene with her months before his tragic death. At the end of the ep, the Peacock series paid tribute to Miguel Martin II, who sadly died in November 2023.
He was 69 years old at the time of his death. The Real Housewives of Miami star meeting her dad in a scene filmed months before he died. She thought she’d finally get to meet his 20-year-old girlfriend, Isis. However, her father arrives alone, and tells Nicole Isis is struggling with sciatica.
Miguel Martin II honored in Miami tribute
Miguel Martin II died in late November 2023 after an unexpected death.
“I haven’t been able to find the words and still can’t,” the caption of Nicole’s tribute post began at the time. “
“Everything happened so fast and it still doesn’t seem real. Part of me is still waiting for one of your crazy phone calls. So many things left unsaid and moments we didn’t share,” she added.
The recent RHOM episode was dedicated to Miguel. Nicole’s post continued: “Trying not to dwell on the missed moments and focusing on the improvements we made. Rest in peace dad. Love you.”
Nicole’s final RHOM scene with her dad
Nicole met her father Miguel Martin, who she calls Mike, for dinner on the December 20 episode. The father and daughter always had a tough relationship after he went to prison when she was young.
When Mike keeps going to the bathroom, she asks about the state of his prostate, and he says, “It’s good, actually. I’m about to have a kid or two.” Nicole’s dad tells her he’s planning to have more children.
“So, if you have a kid, that will make them my sister, and she would be Greyson’s aunt,” Nicole replied. She informs Miguel she’s still processing the news but the shock on her face is clear to see.
During Season 5, she had in a therapy session with Miguel as cameras rolled. She shared that, although they’ve had a complicated relationship, the birth of her son made her want to make amends with Miguel.
Miguel admits Nicole has siblings
After finding out her father wants children, Nicole asks Mike whether, if he had two more kids, what his grand total would be. He says eight, which makes zero sense to the RHOM star.
She knows about most of her siblings, including her brother, but then her dad drops the sudden news that she’s a sister to more of his children, and finds out the kids are only seven and eight years old.
RHOM fans can’t believe the moment Nicole found out was filmed for screens. One viewer wrote: “Dr. Nicole finding out she has a 7 and 8 year old half siblings on camera?! Omg she’s a star. #RHOM.”
